Mary B. Eten
October 10, 1923 – April 7, 2020
Mary B. Eten, 96, of North Beach, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 in the home of her daughter, Katherine E. Harbaugh and son-in-law, Edward M. Golden. She was born October 10, 1923 in Princeton, West Virginia and was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Anna Bee Palmer Biggs. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Priscilla Ann Crabtree (died May 30, 1984) and husband William H. Eten (died June 16, 2010). They were married 64 wonderful years. She retired from Safeway Grocery Stores on December 7, 1982 after 34 years of service. She always enjoyed playing golf and continued to play for many years after retirement. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog Maxwell (who has since passed and will be buried with her), spending time with friends and family, going out to dinner and playing slots in North Beach.
Surviving is her daughter Katherine and her husband Edward of North Beach, Maryland. Three grandsons; William R. Crabtree and his wife Stacey of Glenn Dale, Maryland, Kevin S. Crabtree of Gambrills, Maryland, and Shawn K. Harbaugh and his wife Denise of North Beach, Maryland. She is also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and was loved by her family and many close friends. Everyone will truly miss her friendly and caring ways.
