My sincere condolences to the family on the passing of this lovely, kind lady. I have fond memories of my early years at PGCPS and the professionalism and kindness of Martha. She always had a beautiful smile and caring nature. RIP lovely lady
Martha was the best neighbor, i would wait for her call to say,Rusty don’t you think it’s time to bushhog the pasture. Or to say i think the weeds along the fence need spraying because they are blocking my view. But the best of all is the smile i used to get watching her throw her flowers over on our side, and telling everyone Rusty said i could. Rest in peace Martha you deserve it.
I was so honored to become a part of the Gibson family through marriage 40 years or more ago now, and was always welcomed in with love. Gigi was so genuine, sharp, real and honest. The kind of person who always made you FEEL exactly how much she cared. My sincere condolences to all who were blessed to know her, my heart is with her family. May you rest in peace Mrs Gibson, thank you for your friendship and support.
Aunt Martha was lovely, warm and sincere with a kind generous nature all wrapped up in one lady. She lived her life with respect and love for her family, friends and neighbors. I named my daughter Elizabeth in honor of her great-great Aunt Martha. She loved keeping in touch with the girls and they loved spending the day with Aunt Martha’s as she made the best pancakes and had a great collection of cabbage patch dolls. We feel blessed to have known her and are grateful for her long life. She will remain with us in spirit as she joins family and friends who have gone before her to their eternal life. Although we have a sense of loss, heaven has gained a lovely angel. Our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time for those grieving for their mom, GiGi, Aunt Martha, friend and/or neighbor. Martha was a very special lady to our family. We met at Cedar Grove 25 years ago. We had just lost our daughter and we were new Christians. She welcomed us as we served on committees together, saw each other at church, fellowships and special gatherings. She made our children feel like an adopted grandmother. She would take such an interest in how they were doing in school and would tell them each time she saw their names in the paper. She always had a warm smile at the semi-annual soup sales. She made us feel cared for within the family of Christ. 💗 We also shared a special connection to Loudoun County and to Taylor University so there was always plenty to catch up on when we would see one another. So thankful for the visit we shared in January. Thank you for sharing your mom and grandma with the rest of us. May God bless you and comfort you.
I was so blessed to have my great-great Aunt Martha in my life. Not many people can say that they knew their great-great aunt. Her mind was so sharp, and she helped me tremendously with the Tucker family tree. I loved listening to her stories about her childhood, and about they way things used to be. She knew everyone, and everyone loved her! She would always beep the horn when she drove by my house on Sunday mornings on her way home from church. I know she is celebrating in heaven with all of the ancestors we researched over the years. Sending love and prayers to the Gibson family, Aunt Martha was truly a gem and she will be missed.
My deepest condolences to Martha’s family and friends. She was always very nice to me when we worked together at the Board of Education. I’m sure she will be sorely missed by those closest to her. God rest your soul, Martha.

Gigi was a wonderful person that loved her family very much . She has moved on to a much better place but leaves behind a legacy that I’m certain she was proud of. Sympathies to all of the family.
