To Marilyn’s Family,
So sorry for your loss. We went to school together “Class of 66”. Marilyn was always the same smiling, kind and soft spoken. She had beautiful long hair that she always kept so nice. We did not see each other often but was always nice catching up on our lives. Time seems to slip away more so now as we age. Good friends are often thought of and carried in our hearts. Marilyn was one of God’s Angel’s on earth & now in heaven. I will always cherish our friendship as I know other classmates will. May you rest in peace my friend. May your family have beautiful memories. May God hold you all dear in the weeks to come. God Bless
We are deeply saddened to hear of Marilyn’s passing. we grew up together and attended Sunday School at St Paul’s Church. Growing up, she was my husband’s neighbor on German Chapel Road. We were not as close in later years but whenever we saw each other, we would catch up on our families and talk about old times. She was always a very sweet person and I know her family will miss her. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Hold your memories close as you go through this difficult time.
I’m incredibly sad to hear this news. Marilyn was such a kind hearted and intelligent person who loved her family dearly. She was like a mom to me, when we worked together at Calvert Bank. I will cherish our talks and her words of wisdom–always. My whole heart goes out to her entire family during such a tremendous loss. <3
To Marilyn’s family: Marilyn was certainly a blessing to me and others when she attended the Calvert Pines Senior Center in Prince Frederick. I remember her participating in our ceramics program, but also bringing her grandchildren to our Intergenerational Camp a few years ago for a week during the summer. She always had a smile and a kind word for myself and others who work for the Office on Aging. I always enjoyed our brief exchanges when we crossed paths, and I heard from other staff members who feel the same. May God bless you and comfort you during this difficult time.
To Marilyn’s family,
I knew Marilyn through my Uncle Robert King (who married my aunt Jean Dowell). As a little girl, I remember getting hand me down clothes from Marilyn. Very cool! Later in life I enjoyed our conversations whenever we ran into each other. My heart goes out to her family for the loss of someone so very special.
I was so deeply saddened at the news of Marilyn’s passing. She was always a shining star in my ceramics class at Calvert Pines Senior Center and we will miss her greatly. I hope that your memories of Marilyn bring you some comfort during this difficult time. Sending your family light and love.
