Marie Antoinette Samaha
April 4, 1940- October 9, 2016
Marie Antoinette Samaha, 76, of Ocala, FL and Huntingtown, MD passed away at home October 9, 2016. She was born April 4, 1940 in Zelienople, PA to Noble and Elizabeth (Pastusek) Watson. She settled in Calvert County in 1972 to raise her children.
She owned and operated Superior Cleaners and R&J Liquors before retiring and moving to Ocala, FL.
She had a strong faith in God and deeply touched the lives of everyone she knew. She believed family was the most important part of life and would brag to anyone that would listen. She lived and traveled to many different places and always loved to tell her many adventures. She loved doing projects around the house and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t attempt. Only when it became impossible to walk did she use a wheelchair. Strength, determination and bravery described her inspiring fight. ALS was most difficult for a strong person like her and therfor took away a deeply loved invaluable soul, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife, sister, aunt and friend to so many. As mom always told us “The hardest things in life are the best” as a result heaven was her goal.
Marie is survived by her husband Leslie H. Samaha of Ocala, FL; daughters Michele Dorazio and her husband Preston and Talya Schuster and her husband Michael all of Huntingtown, MD; grandchildren Thomas and Colin Dorazio, Amy Ochoa and her husband Luis and Michael Schuster; great grandchildren Peyton and Piper Ochoa; sister Joan Jenkins and her husband John of Kansas City, MO. She felt blessed by all of her other relatives and friends that touched her throughout her life and she cherished each one.
Marie was preceded in death by a son Thomas Cooper Ferebee and brother John Watson.
