Sending my sincerest condolences to Lucia’s family and friends. Lucia was my first boss at the water park snack bar from the age of 14-16 (1999-2000), and I have thought so highly of her ever since. Lucia treated each of us like her own; she had a soft spot for all of us kids but that also meant she had high expectations; she never let us get away with anything and held us accountable for our actions. I attribute my strong work ethic and sense of accountability to my time working with Lucia. I’m sure she didn’t know it at the time but she made quite the impression on me. She loved giving us a hard time but you knew when she’d get that smirk on her face and give you a wink that she was only teasing. One thing that still makes me chuckle every now and then is that whenever I would get on Lucia’s nerves (I was quite a chatty teenager and the snack bar was a small space), she would send me on “special errands” for her just to get me out of her hair. I will always remember her fondly and pray for comfort for her loved ones during this time.
Mom I can’t say in words just how much I love and miss you. There’s days I feel lost without you and would give anything to see you beautiful smile again or hear your voice. I can’t believe it’s been 7 months since you left us and earned your wings. You were definitely the wind beneath my wings. I hope you’re up in heaven with Tommy, Luke and Debbie. I miss you all so much. ♥️

It’s been one year today since the worlds greatest mom earned her wings. There’s not a day that goes by that you aren’t truly loved and misses dearly. I love you mom and wish I had one more day with you.
