My prayers go out to the family and friends of Linda Meyers Wells. We had such good times in school, but as most of the time happens we lose touch. May the Lord take you in his embrace and you see your sister Sandy again.

    Johnny, Wayne, and Cathy,
Your Mom was our neighbor, friend, and she was family. She was there to help when needed and though she and you Dad had went in different directions, after he had his stroke, she was always available to cook, clean, and stay with him when needed. We will never forget her and her goodness. Praying for you always.

Your Uncle Hugh and Aunt Diane

Johnny, Wayne, and Cathy, your loss is felt by many. Linda was such a a special woman. I met her way back in 1960. My parents bought a beach house in 1958 and we moved down permanently in June of ’60. Your Mom, Aunt Sandy and your Grandmother were some of the first people we got to know, New friends in our new home. Katie’s Beauty Salon was down 7th Street close to the Bay. Your Grandmother was an expert beautician and well like by all. Your Mom and Aunt Sandy hung out at the shop some days. That is how I got to know Linda. From the day Katie cut off my ponytail before I started high school thru the years that followed, Linda has been one of my favorite people. As we get older, we don’t see friends even family as often as we would like. Whenever the chance, I was always tickled to see her to share a hug, a kiss, catch up a bit. Just as you, I love your Mom very much. Keep all of your sweet memories close to your heart and she will always be with you. Prayers for you and your families.

Watching you kids growing up, its been hard being out of touch. Life moves on and we go in different directions but I will treasure knowing, laughing and crying with Linda. I know you will miss her. She was a good friend and had fun in school with her and saw her in the 7/11 playing her numbers and loved talking and laughing with her! Will miss those times and before retiring saw her at Rausch’s occasionally. Truly cared about her whole family who had roots in the county and North Beach!! Always hugged and will miss those. Sad losing all these special people and keeps happening almost weekly it seems. Sending sympathy to family and friends and want them to know how special she was and Willy and I will miss her and will cherish memories of her forever. I remember I had English with her in 12th grade and we were always in trouble for talking and he put us in the front row but did not stop us! RIP Linda. I will hold on to all those years of memories and did not know you were sick and would have loved to talk and provide support and what I could during that time. I think you knew you were special to both of us and we tried to show you everytime we saw you. You knew a lot of people from your jobs and know you are leaving a lot of sad people to hear this news. Until we meet again, I will think of you and never forgotten!
