Lawrence E. Wilson Jr. was born on September 8, 1951, gifted by God to Lawrence E. and Evelyn Mae Wilson. A child, father, grandfather, husband, uncle, friend, soldier, brother, landowner, and farmer. An incredible human.
He shared 74 years with the world, but now feels like just only a few moments, but they were the greatest moments anyone could have asked for.
He went to sleep with the angels August 1, 2025, surrounded by family and the most love that anybody could ever possibly give.
We will see him in our dreams. We will hear him when the breeze blows through the wheat and corn fields. We will feel him in our heart, illuminating the soul every time we think of him. Larry will continue to be the light, guiding us through wherever life takes.
It’s impossible to put words to the emotions that we’re feeling right now. All of us, everywhere have been impacted by his beautiful life.
We will celebrate Larry for the rest of our lives.
We love you so much Larry, with every single beat of our hearts. Thank you for being the beautiful soul that you are. Thank you for everything you have taught us about cherishing life, love and happiness. Thank you for loving us so deeply, powerfully, and endlessly. August 2 – Obituary: Lawrence E. “Larry” Wilson, Jr.
Larry Wilson and I grew up together. My goodness the great times we shared together. Many discussions and outings as my mother Minnie taught him in Sunday school. To this day his family farms some of her property. Always enjoyed talking about farming. God bless his soul- and sending prayers to the family in this difficult time.

August 2 – Obituary: Lawrence E. “Larry” Wilson, Jr.
Larry was a kind and loving man. My memories of him go back to when I was 25 and he helped me through a very hard time I was going through with my 2 small children and was scared to death.
There has never been a time in my many years of knowing Larry that he hasn’t put a huge smile on my face! This world won’t be the same without you in it. Fly high! Forever in our hearts until we meet again 🙏
