I never really spent a lot of time with Laura, but for the few times that I did, you could truly see she was a kind and loving woman. Heaven gained another angel. RIP.

Laura, Harold and the Family, It was sometime in September or October that I was visiting a friend at Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Crownsville when passing a room I saw the name Laura Trott. I looked in but did not see anyone so did not check further. My next visit is when I did see Laura, but since staff was there I thought I could stop by later, but later never came. My final visit to the Center was when I saw all her things were packed awaiting pickup. I did ask and was told she had been admitted to AAMC and that was all they knew. We live with our regrets and this is another lesson to that end for me to not wait for ‘ later’.
To all the Family, you are not alone in your loss, for it is shared by more perhaps than you even know. I further regret I am unable to join you for the celebration of Laura’s life on Wednesday, but will hold you up in prayer.
    Sincerely, george owings

Laurie and family, I’m so sorry to hear of Laura’s death. I remember her fondly from the years I worked at Rural Development (FmHA) in Prince Frederick. She was always so full of life and full of energy no matter what was happening in her life! What a wonderful spirit she had! Such a positive force! I hadn’t seen her in about 5 years but I did think of her often. I will remember her dancing as I know she once loved to do!

So sorry to hear of Laura Virginia’s passing. I’m her cousin Martha’s (daughter of Fernando Weems and Mamie Lena Jenkins Weems) daughter Sandra. I always had such a good time catching up with Laura Virginia when we met at reunions, weddings, funerals, and other family gatherings. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I’ll keep those memories of Laura close. Warmly—Sandra Sussman (on behalf of my mom, too!)
