Kevin James Fealy
June 28, 1985 – September 17, 2023
Kevin James Fealy, 38, of Baltimore, MD passed away on September 17, 2023 in Baltimore, MD. Kevin James Fealy was born on June 28 1985 to Michael Fealy and Mary Heflin. The small spitfire instantly changed our world for the better, entertaining us with his mischievous antics. The summers of his youth included many trips to his grandparents rural VA property. Here he had the pleasure of a dozen cousins who served as partners in endless adventures through the woods. Shortly after graduating from Thomas Stone High school Kevin enlisted in the US Army and proudly served his country in Iraq. Upon returning home Kevin resided with his mom Mary and step father Steve in Pasadena, MD. Here he grew roots. He was overjoyed at the birth of his daughter Paige in 2010. The following years were not easy but Kevin never stopped pushing forward. We lost him and all his possibilities on September 17, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Heflin and grandfather Lewis Helmick. Kevin is survived by his daughter Paige Fealy, parents Michael and Ronnie Fealy, siblings Angela (Zacharia), Kris (Justin), Stefanie (Antonio), and Patrick.

Fealy was a humerous and compassionate person. He saw some good in everyone. As the smallest guy in our unit but with many strengths, I always told people don’t let Fealy’s size fool you. I will miss our talks on Facebook catching up and WARRIOR you will be missed. Prayers and condolences to his family.

I will miss:
OUR GREAT BIG LONG HUGS…from birth and forward.
OUR SCIENCE RELATED TALKS (Steven Hawkin & Neil DeGrasse Tyson) What, Where, When Why and How?
OUR JOURNEYS THROUGH THE WOODS AT NIGHT w/flashlights (Mineral VA. @ Grandma Peggy & Grandpa Lefty Helmick’s’) LOOKING FOR…; AND TEACHING YOU ABOUT BUGS, SPIDERS, WOODLAND ANIMALS (“glowing eyes”) & AND LOL by Jeezy, knee slapping, and roll on the ground busting a gut laugh…”PUKING” SNAKE! YES, KEVIN MY DEAR…IT WAS “PUKING” A FROG BACK UP!
BABYSITTING YOU, WATCHING YOU GROW, I AM SO GLAD I GOT TO EXPERIENCE YOU AND YOUR HUMOR,
AND “FROZEN” REESE CUPS!!! Those were the DOO-DOO! I WILL MISS YOU FOREVER!
Kevin,
As your dad it is hard for me to put all my thoughts and feelings of you into something as simple as words. BUT I will give it my best shot.
From the day your were born you were a fighter, a great defender of the underdog an ally of those who could/would not speak for themselves. You are a champion of fairness. Most of all you are resilient.
I enjoyed it when you would “help” in the garage with fixing the cars or splitting firewood. I liked watching you play the video games (that I did not understand). The passion you had for reading. Staying up all night to finish a Star Trek book, and then trying to sleep in and not go to school.
It made me happy to see you grow into a proud young man, making hard decisions and sticking by them. You made the choice to join the Army and defend our country when the rest of us complained it, you did something about it!!!
You are warm, caring and compassionate beyond measure. I can only say “I am damn proud to be your father” and I will miss you terribly. I will hold you in my mind, heart and soul forever.
YOU ARE MY HERO !!
LOVE, Dad
My prayers go out to your family and friends . I see you every time I look at Paige. She has your curls and wild sense of humor. Though I know her heart is breaking she takes comfort in knowing that your in heaven taking care of grandma Mary.
Here’s a pictures in honor of my nephew Kevin. Four generations- Kevin, his daughter Paige, his mom Mary, and his grandmother Peggy.
Kevin and I would text every couple months after his mom died (my sister). We always ended our text with ‘love you’. So glad we did. You are truly missed. 😢😢
To Kevin’s family, friends, and military brothers and sisters,
I hope your memories of the good times bring you peace. I enjoyed getting to know Kevin and found him to be a person of strength, honesty, and intelligence. It was an honor serving him through the VA. I will miss talking with him.
