Kenneth Russell Norfolk, Sr.
April 28, 1933 – June 5, 2022
Kenneth R. Norfolk, Sr., of Tracy’s Landing passed away June 5, 2022. He was born April 28, 1933 in Bristol to Hugh and Nellie Norfolk. Kenny graduated from Southern Senior High School in 1951. He was a great baseball player and played for Southern High and the Greenoch baseball team. Kenny married Betty Catterton on August 4, 1956. He was employed with Prince George’s County Board of Education for over 40 years. He was known for being an excellent cabinet maker. He also made many beautiful pieces for his home. After he retired from the school board, he enjoyed working on the farm.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Betty, and children Julie (John), Rusty, and Beth (Craig), grandchildren Justin (Emily), Brittany (Mike), Robert (Barbara), Levi (Kayla), and Lauren, and great-grandchildren Lucas, Amelia, Hailey, James, Dylan, and Mark.
As per Kenny’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Donations in his name may be made to the Deale Volunteer Fire Department.
