My sincerest condolences to the Appel family. Ken was a dear, gentle soul that brightened my day with his humor, his observation of others, and his words of wisdom. You never knew what he was going to say which made his words priceless. He was a gem for helping answer my nursing station phone, we shopped for many boats and houses during many, many shifts together. He even educated me on deer when we watched them from the back window of the facility. I have so many treasured memories I will hold forever of this dear man. Ken was loved by many and will be remembered by many.
I pray your treasured memories bring you peace during your time of mourning.
