You were my great friends for over fifty years. We’ve shared our lives through thick and thin. You were one of most wonderful people I know. Always sweet, honest and true. Watch over your dear family from above. We will all miss you. God bless Bryan and your whole family.
Love always, Lisa Borges Lewis
So saddened by her family’s pain. I am absolutely sure that as tomorrow never comes for Julie, her family most assuredly knows how much she loved them all. Rest assured tho, her spirit is always ever close to listen to your thoughts and hold you close.
ALL IS WELL
Death is nothing at all,
I have only slipped into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone,
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was,
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was, there is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near,
Just around the corner.
All is well.

There are no words that can make this better. Just know that we love you all very much. She was a wonderful person to have in your life. She helped to raise Allen and pretty much treated him like her own son. She will be forever missed.
R.I.P. Julie,
Bryan and family, you have deepest sympathy. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. Our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. Wishing the Walker family the best and know you have our support in every moment.
Bryan and family, my heart feels your pain. Julie had a heart of gold and lived a life of constant care and service to everyone she met. For over 40 years, we shared our joys and sorrows, our dreams and disappointments, but Julie always smiled and spoke with such faith and support over every situation. She was so smart and loving! Her reason for living was to spread joy and take care of her family! Our “Jewel” will live on in our hearts forever as we continue her legacy of love for our families and each other. To the entire Walker and Sunderland families, I wish you peace and loving memories of Julie. God bless you all and know I will love and treasure my time with Julie forever.
Julie was truly a special woman. When you spoke with her she looked into your eyes so intently and you
knew she was focused on what you had to say. I was glad to see her at our recent Suitland High School reunion. I only wish that we had gotten together again. She will be missed but remembered fondly. Thinking of the Walker and Sunderland families and sending prayers.
Dear Walker and Sunderland family members,
I am far away in California, but I always hold a place in my heart for my east coast family. We are so sorry to hear of Julie’s passing. I am certain it is a difficult loss for you all, but Julie will always be with you as your guardian angel. I truly believe that.
My thoughts and prayers are with you Mildred, Clay, Susan, Bryan and entire family. May your sadness ease and loving memories comfort you all.
Love,
Sandy, John, Johnny and Bill Gower

Rip Julie. I smiled when you said Myrtle Beach was one of your favorite places. I have fond memories when all of us went there years ago.
