So this is it. I was just going to call her the other day but let my own life get in the way.
Judy has been one of my oldest and dearest friends since we all lived in Lothian all those years ago. Judy, Janet and I used to pile into that old mustang of hers and shop, shop, shop. Our trips to watch Terry race every weekend at Old Dominion were epic and so much fun. Neighborhood cookouts and their mom’s great mac salad. Our men building a deck on all of our houses. Helping her (or trying to) when we lost Janet so sadly and so suddenly when we thought she was doing better. Judy was so lost without her shadow. We just lost a precious part of my life and we’ll miss her.
Brian and Derek, the two of you were her world, I was just checking on the two of you on facebook but saw that you hadn’t posted in some time. I love you. She’s with her shadow again and in that we should find some peace. Let’s all try.
I loved Judy like a sister and we would talk every night on the phone for hours. We met online about ten years ago and had a lot of laughs. We never hung up without saying we loved one another. Condolences to the Family and Friends of Judy. God has his loving arms around all of you now to give you strength to make it through this sad time. Judy is now home with the Lord as he was calling her home.

Words cannot express how saddened I am at Judy’s passing. She was very dear to Joey and I as well as our children. We will fondly remember the good times had together over the years. Rest peacefully Judy.
Love,
Terri & Joey Pagliaro

I graduated from Suitland the same year as Judy and Janet. I was delighted to see them together so often here in Calvert County. It was always the Butler twins. I send my condolences to the family.
Judy was a very wonderful person. I’m sorry our lives drifted apart. She was very kind and she took care of many of her loved ones. I will always have fond memories of our times together.
