Judithann "Judi" Dolak

Judi Dolak, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026, at the age of 85.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chesapeake Church, 6201 Solomon’s Island Road, Huntingtown, MD, 20639 on November 13, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM with a reception to follow from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the same location. Flowers may be delivered to the Memorial Service (www.calvertflorist.com) or, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Judi’s honor to Chesapeake Church (https://chesapeakechurch.churchcenter.com/giving/to/tithes-offerings). Judi was born on August 2, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, to Thomas and Julia (Hydock) Suder. She grew up in Philadelphia and graduated high school in 1959 from Ancilla Domini Academy.

In the spring of 1966, on April 16, Judi married the love of her life, Charles Dolak. Together, they built a life that took them from Philadelphia to Seattle, WA; Dallas, TX; York, PA, and ultimately to Maryland, where they made their home for the past 56 years.

Throughout her career, Judi worked as an office manager for several companies, but while her work was an important part of her life, her greatest joy—and her greatest legacy—was her family.

Judi had a big heart and a generous spirit. If someone she loved needed her, she was there. She would go anywhere and do anything she could to help. Her willingness to show up for the people she loved was one of the qualities that defined her and the way she cared for her family.

More than anything, Judi loved having her family around her. She wanted to be part of their lives and to share in the everyday moments, celebrations, holidays, and milestones that brought everyone together. Being included and surrounded by the people she loved brought her great happiness, and family was where she felt most at home.

Judi took great pride in watching her family grow through the years. Her love, generosity, and devotion to those she cared for will remain a lasting part of the family she leaves behind.

Judi is survived by her husband, Charles, of Dunkirk, MD; her sister Fran (Bob) Haller of Summerville, SC; her daughters, Julie (Tim) Duley and Allison (Keith) Lehnhardt; her grandchildren, Dillon (McKenzie) Lehnhardt, Olivia Duley, Hunter Duley, and Jack Lehnhardt; and her great-grandson, Duke Lehnhardt. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, extended family, and all who knew her.
