Joseph L. Reigle, 83, of St. Leonard, MD passed away on March 12, 2012 at Calvert Memorial Hospital, Prince Frederick, MD
Joe was born on August 1, 1928 in Lewistown, PA to the late Katherine Wilson and Joseph L. Reigle II. He is also predeceased by his siblings, Doris Wagner, Herbert Reigle and Gerald Reigle. Joe Retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service as a Senior Master Sergeant. He served in the Korean War and was an airplane crew chief. After retirement from the Air Force, he enjoyed life, he loved to crab, fish, garden, and yard work. He enjoyed watching the wildlife, feeding the bird and squirrels, then fussing at the squirrels for eating all the bird food. He was member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Joe was a wonderful family man, he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They always came first in his life.
He is survived by his wife, Frances C. Reigle of St. Leonard, MD, father of Joseph L. Reigle and his wife Debra of Yagertown, PA, Linda M. Chialastri and her husband Dan of Harwood, MD, and Mark K. Reigle and his wife Bridget of Huntingtown, MD. Grandfather of Kelly Smith, Sheri Marker, Joseph L. Reigle,V, Danny Chialastri, Bobby Chialastri, Chris Reigle and Cody Reigle. Great Grandfather of, Maura, Garret, Kyle, Rachal, Cassie, Skye, and David. He is also survived by a brother, Richard Reigle of Lewistown, PA, and sisters Patricia Olnick of Burnham, PA and Joan Bay of McClure PA.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 14, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD. Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Thursday March 15, 2012, 11 AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church Prince Frederick, M. Interment will be private
