We offer our most since condolences. This news hit me particularly hard for a number of reasons. We were only lucky enough to meet Joseph once this summer on their trip back home through Georgia. Within 5 minutes of meeting Joseph I knew he was someone so special. He was full of life and had an amazing knowledge of God and his Catholic faith. I enjoyed every minute we got to spend with him and your family this summer. Many prayers have been raised up in his honor and will continue to pray for him and for all of your family. Our hearts go out to you and know your are in our thoughts and prayers each day.
Love, Scott, Jennifer, Thomas, Andrew Bourne
I have so many sweet memories of Joseph in the gym after school. I can picture Joseph and Roger as little boys sitting together on the floor of the gym always playing games and always having fun.Joseph smiled all the time and I loved asking him each season what sport was he planning on playing. He played to win every time with his heart and soul. After he left CHA I would always ask the boys that were still close with him, Have you seen Joseph lately? Oh yeah, they would say even though he was at a different school they stayed connected. Joseph was kind to others and always wanted to do good. I’m so sadden by his sudden death. Daniel, Angie and Maria please know you’re in my prayers and praying for Gods grace to get you through this difficult time .
Angie, Danny, Maria, and my dears friends Charlotte and Jim Rank. May God bless your family during this most troublesome and sad time. I was devastated when Jim called and advised me about Joseph. I went to bed that night and was unable to sleep. Such a fine young man. Please know your family remains in my prayers. May God bless and comfort you. Our faith tells us that Joseph is resting with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Dear Dan, Anjie & Maria, accept our sincere condolence! Although Joe went too soon, he will be forever in our hearts. I fondly remember him as a gentle, polite and kind young man. Always willing to help and encourage.. his smile and confidence gave me joy.. Joe helped our daughter carry n play with his special blonde Guinea pig.. we hung out at the Chesapeake beach n he was an example to our son!
Joe, May your soul RIP.. We are comforted because we trust you are resting in the Lord. Dan & Anjie, your courage and faith in Christ is comforting! We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
Angie, Dan, Maria, and family, we did not know Joseph but heard of him through family who spoke of his talents, goodness and kindness. Clearly, Joseph had a tremendous positive impact on those he came in contact with, so his passing is a greater shock for which there are no adequate words. We mourn with you and pray that God’s loving kindness will comfort you and bring you peace. The Leontiev family.
Dear Joseph,
We love you so much and will already miss your love and smile and hugs. I am going to miss going to the archery range with you and your dad and know you are already getting to do heaven’s version of hunting! 🙂 Until we see each other again…
Dear Dan, Angie and Maria, and the Rank gang,
We love you so much and we are just a few minutes away or a phone call away at any time. Our hearts are always with you – especially as you go thru the next days, weeks, and months. You know we are praying hard and sending our love every minute. We love you.
Godfather Nick and the Graziano Family!
Dear Dan, Angie, and Maria,
I’ll never forget Asher’s excitement at Joseph joining Rockbridge in 5th grade. He knew right away what a kind soul he was- and the fact that he played football was so cool! Asher has many memories with him and finds great comfort knowing he is with Jesus. May God sustain and uphold you during the unimaginable grief you must be feeling. Joseph will be remembered fondly by our family and our entire community- always a smile and a kind word. Much love and prayers, the Bachmann family
Sending prayers for Joseph and his family and friends. My grandson was his classmate at CHA. I remember him well from his days there. He was such sweet, happy, and kind young man. God bless and keep you all during this difficult time.
His death shocked me because I met him the Monday before his death, though I will not question God, rather, Pray that God will comfort them in this trying time & grant him eternal rest, may his soul & souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen 🙏
