John Mark Brown

John Mark Brown, 58, of Huntingtown passed away January 27, 2022. He was born June 16, 1963 in Washington, DC to Charles William and Patricia Ann (Trimble) Brown. Mark was raised in Lanham and attended Fairmont Heights High School. He married his wife Tammy Dowell on February 25, 2008 and they moved to West Virginia where they built a cabin. They later moved back to Maryland for work and settled in Huntingtown. Mark was employed as an autobody technician for New Designs Autobody in Hyattsville. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, wolves, being outdoors and was known for making the best deer jerky.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Brown. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Lynn Brown and step children Thomas England (Amber) of Edgemere, Richard England of Greenbelt and Brenna Lauer and her significant other, Jake of Greenbelt. Also surviving are his mother Patricia Brown, siblings Jackie Fox of Bushnell, FL and Joyce Fletcher and husband Billy of Owings, grandchildren Abigail, Sylas and Ari, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

We were so sad to hear of Marks passing! We are keeping you all in our prayers! Mark was a very good person, and well like by our family. We all had lots of fun as children living at Finians Court Apartments. So, so, sorry for your loss!
