John Leslie “Johnny” Buzik
December 27, 1967- April 7, 2021

John Leslie “Johnny” Buzik, 53, of Huntingtown passed away April 7, 2021 at Calvert Health Medical Center. He was born December 27, 1967 in Silver Spring to Richard Wayne and Pamela Lee (Sarbacher) Buzik. John was raised in Silver Spring and graduated from Montgomery Blair High School. He was employed as an export specialist with Panalpina Inc. in Sterling, VA for 27 years before retiring in 2019. John was an avid sports fan and loved the Washington Capitals, University of Maryland, Washington Nationals, and Washington Redskins. He was a board member of the Washington Capitals Fan Club and traveled to many University of Maryland bowl games as well as out of town Nationals and Capitals games. Most of all, John loved his family and would do anything for them. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and parents.
John is survived by his parents Richard “Dickie” and Pamela Buzik of Huntingtown, sister Tina MacAulay and her husband Tony of Owings, nieces and nephews Savannah, Kaleb, Brooke, and Delaney MacAulay, uncles Lorin Sarbacher and his wife Carol and Eddie Sarbacher and his wife Janet, and cousins Michelle, Lisa, Diane, David, and Carolyn Sarbacher and Marie Hamilton.

To all, my heart hurts hearing of John’s passing. He was such an amazingly wonderful human being. I worked at Panalpina with him for many years and learned a lot, but could never know as much as he did. I know he loved his family more then anything and was so incredibly proud of his nieces and nephew.
