John Joseph Cooper

John Joseph Cooper, 53, of Port Republic passed away May 24, 2019. He was born February 17, 1966 in Cheverly to Sharon Anderson and Joseph Meridith Cooper. John was raised in Upper Marlboro and graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. He was employed as a union electrician with Local Union 26 and worked for the Prince George’s County Government Office of Services. John enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
John is survived by his children Rebecca Armour and husband John of Port Republic, Lauren Sylver and husband Jesse of Lusby and Megan Cooper of Prince Frederick, 4 grandchildren, mother Sharon Anderson Rendon, brother Daniel Cooper and girlfriend Dawn Lawson.
