Johnny was my neighbor and friend for the last six years. We became good friends and spent sometime looking at one of his many video movies. Mostly old western. But my favorite memories of Johnny will be, him stopping by Giant Foods in Lusby where I work. I would be his personal shopping guide. If Giant didn’t have a product he came for, Johnny would not hesitate to send someone to find me or he would come get me himself. He Loved the chicken salad and one deli manager was the best at making it. So Johnny would tell me when he was out and I would get this particular manager to prepare some and put four one pound containers aside. And Johnny would be there “ Johnny on the spot and pick it up.” I will miss my friend but I know the pain he endured for so long is gone now. Rest Johnny Bowen, your friend Ben will see you again.
