We are sad to announce the passing of John B. Anderson of Calvert County, Maryland. He died at the age of 73 on December 6, 2022 at Calvert Health Medical Center.

John was born December 15, 1948 in Washington, D.C. to the late Bedie Anderson and Frances Jane (Markwood) Anderson.

John loved spending time with his sister, Joy Tilton. He especially loved going antique shopping and  out to eat when they were together. He was a wonderful brother and friend to all. He had a big heart and looked forward to moments when he could help others.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Bedie Anderson and Frances Jane (Markwood) Anderson, and his sisters, Sara Lee Pearson and Linda Lou Erskine. He is survived by his sister, Joy Faye Tilton (Warren), his sister-by-heart, Juanita Rose Swindell, and many nieces and nephews that he loved deeply.

A graveside service to remember John’s life will be held at Charles Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, December 13th, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
