Jineane Vernon Stahl
March 24, 1951 – April 17, 2023
Jineane V. Stahl, age 72, of Prince Frederick, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2023. Jineane attended Atholton High School and was certified by the State of Maryland as a geriatric nursing assistant. She cared for many patients at the Calvert County Nursing Center, where she served for much of her life, as well as volunteering for the Calvert County Public Schools as a substitute teacher. She was an avid puzzler, loved the character Marvin the Martian, and had a heart for most any cat that came to her door. She enjoyed spending time with her son, Tom, adored her two beautiful granddaughters, Skyler and Jenna, and had many adventures with her best friend, Lin. She made the most of life by helping and loving on others, and she had a gift for making people laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Jineane is survived by her loving son, Thomas W. Stahl II; granddaughters, Skylar Marie Stahl and Jenna Lynn Stahl; her sister, Johen Coulter; and her “sister in life,” Lin Carpenter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Davis and James Knaak, and her brothers, Ralph Smith and David Smith.
A visitation and sharing of memories will be held at Rausch Funeral Home, Port Republic, on April 23, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Jineane’s name.

So saddened at Jineane’s passing. She lived next to me for 13 years and we became good friends. Our granddaughters spent a lot of time together in the early years and enjoyed themselves. I miss her sorely and will never forget this lovely woman. Rest In Peace my good friend.
I am so sad to know that Jineane has left us. She was a good friend to me such a long, long time ago. We were neighbors in Long Beach, MD. We reconnected as Facebook friends. I have fond memories of time spent with her that I will never forget. I am sorry for your loss, Tom, granddaughters, best friend.
I’m so sad to learn of her passing. I haven’t seen her in years but never forgot what a good friend she was. Always smiling & willing to help anyone who needed it. Her humor lit up the room, with her million dollar smile. Rest in Peace, we will meet again!
My condolences to Jineane’s son Tom and her granddaughters, Skylar and Jenna. I have known her for 52 years. Met her back in 1970s, and we became best of friends. I remember riding in her little red bug (VW). She was like a big sister to me in many ways. I loved her like a sister and we kept in contact over the years. I am so sorry to hear that she had passed. She and I have been to Ocean City many times in our young years and later back in the early 2000s we went to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon with the Laurel Senior Center. We had a great time. I will never forget her and all the great times we had. Love ya girl! You will always be in my heart.
Was just notified about the loss of an old friend. We were friends while attending Savage Elem School, Waterloo Jr and then Atholton High School. She was a true friend we had lost contact in 1968 but we crossed paths again 2015,
Until we cross again my friend Rest in Peace.

J, what can I say, we did some silly things. You were a true friend you were. We never did get our kids married to each other but we dreamed. I will miss you tremendously. Fly high my beautiful friend.
While I did not know Ms. Jineane V. Stahl, I consider her son, Tom, a good friend. The prayers of myself and Oak Forest Baptist Church in Fletcher, NC are with the family and all who love her.
