Jennifer Lynn Mitterer, 44, of Lusby, MD passed away on September 25, 2023 at Calvert Health Medical Center. Born July 15, 1979 in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Mitterer and Debbie (Smith) Mitterer.
Jennifer graduated from Patuxent High School in 1999. Facebook was her hobby and she enjoyed kids. Jennifer enjoyed life and was always a sweetheart.
Jennifer is survived by her mother, Debbie Mitterer of Lusby, MD; sisters Traci Penicook and Brenda Mason; nieces, Skylar Mitterer, Harper Bauguess, Camille Penicook and Victoria Drewery; nephews Julian Kachauskas, Drake Penicook, Trey Jackson, Paul Jackson and Johnathan Hensley; sister-in-law, Casey Kachauskas; aunts and uncles, Susan Cave, Sherry and Mark Smith, Tammy P. Smith (Timmy Smith – deceased), Beverly and Jim Jones, Anne Marie Adkins, Susie and Lawrence Holmes, Bobby and Betty Mitterer and Michael Mitterer; and many cousins. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Mitterer; her brother, Christopher Mitterer; and grandparents, Edgar M. “Snookie” and Margaret H. Smith and Rudy and Thelma Mitterer.
Family will receive friends on Monday, October 2, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service following at 12:00 p.m. at Rausch Funeral Home, Lusby, MD. Interment will follow in Chesapeake Highlands Memorial Gardens, Port Republic, MD.
Serving as pallbearers will be Drake Penicook, Tim Humphreys, Scott Humphreys, Devon Kachauskas, Kyle Kachauskas, Josh Kachauskas and Robbie Cave.
