Jeannette Marie McKenny

Jeannette Marie McKenny, 84, of Greenville, NC where she had retired with her husband William Ernest McKenny, passed away May 13, 2020 at the home of her daughter in King, NC. Known as Patsy, she was born December 22, 1935 in Chesapeake Beach, MD to Dorothy O. (Paddy) and Charles Joseph Finchham. She was employed as a waitress at Abner’s Crabhouse in Chesapeake Beach for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband Ernest, a son James R. “Rusty” Sturdivant of Owings, daughters Bonnie Grieser and husband Dutch of King, NC, Mandy Shapira of Manteo, NC, Sheila Sturdivant of Friendship, MD, Elaine Kennedy, Debbie Kennedy, and Sandy Dobbs, all of North Carolina; grandchildren Joseph Revell, Olivia Grieser, James Ryan Sturdivant, Amanda Johnson, and Lily Revell; and sisters Sally Craig of California, MD, Charlene Haynes of Waldorf, and Marianne Stillings of Jacksonville, FL.
A graveside service for family members will be held Tuesday May 19 at Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, Owings, MD.
