Jean will be remembered as a kind, gentle person.
Through my personal life, as in family and friends, I have delt with a few cancer patients.
In my medical life I experienced many cancer patients unable to cope with what they were facing.
Jean, she stands far above all, as a person with great fortitude, strength a resolve. It is truly inspiring how she faced the issues placed before her. She allowed her faith and belief that she will enter the gates of heaven, which gave her such great strength. I always enjoyed stopping my oustide work and talking with her at the street.
She was always concerned for mom, and for Jean’s caring concern, I am greatly appreciative.
On our last talk out on the street she said some very kind things which I will hold dearly and never forget, I think she knew that would be our last talk. I reminded her, through a personal happening, that we will all meet again and that we all have purpose, reason and destiny. My story gave her great joy, solidified her religious belief and I hope gave her greater strength.
We will miss Jean, her calls with mom, my talks out on the street, her kindness, Christmas cookies, and seeing her walk the dogs.
May Jean, Requiescat in pace ( Rest In Peace )
The Thomas family, Neighbors for 38 years.
Our deepest sympathy to Bruce, Jimmy and family for their loss of Jean. She was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Every one will cherish their special memories of Jean. May she soar with the angels in heaven.
Bruce I am so sorry for you and your family’s loss of Jean my prayers go out to you all. May God wrap her in his loving arms and I know now she is relieved of her pain. We have another Angel watching over us.
Jean was one of the nicest and carrying people I have had the pleasure of calling my friend. We will always remember the Friday dinners at Ledo with Bruce and Jean. She always had a kind word for everyone and looked at the positive side in everyone. She was a wonderful friend and we will truly miss her. Although she will be missed we hope it will comfort her family knowing she is no longer in pain.
Bruce, Jimmy and family. It is not possible Jean left us so soon. She always had a kind word and concern for everyone. We’ve been neighbors for many years and have enjoyed our friendship over the years. We have fond memories of neighborhood gatherings with the Elliott family. Peace, love and many prayers go your way.
Bruce, thinking back to the wonderful times with you and Jean. She was such a joy to talk with and she had such a warm and kind spirit. Always a kind and positive word to say about everyone and everything and she will be so missed.
Bruce my brother and childhood friend, my words can’t express my heartfelt sorrows I feel for you and your family. Although, I never had the opportunity to me your lovely wife Jean, my condolences to you and the family. We talked about Jean by phone about her illness, she is in a better place now free of pain. The next time I’m in Washington will make every effort to see you.
Jean was so sweet – My son Devon adored her when he attended Plum Point. She always had a smile when we came into school. I always said I wished I could clone her. She was THE kindest person I ever met. My sincerest condolences to your family
