I was so sad and shocked to see of Janie’s passing. I had the opportunity to work with Janie on CHS PTSA for several years. She was funny, bright, caring, and a wonderful person. She made a difference. Sending my condolences and hugs to your family. We have been gone from Calvert for almost 9 years, I am sorry I did not see this sooner.

Janie was absolutely amazing. When Katie was first down at the firehouse in Solomon’s and working at Asbury I would often stay over to hang out. Janie made me a BLT with miracle whip!! WHAT! Miracle whip! Not normal mayo? I never in my lifetime have enjoyed miracle whip. She laughed with Katie and told me to give it a shot, it would be the best BLT you ever had. Well Janie was right. I ended up eating two BLTS with miracle whip. Janie absolutely loved her family and helping people. She was a very loving mother not just to her natural kids but also her firehouse kids and Katie’s friends. Mama Hanko you will be so missed and I am so truly sorry I cannot be there. When I get to MD again I will be sure to visit you and catch up. Katie, Heather, Charles she was an amazing loving woman. I am glad I got to spend the time I did with her. If you ever need me Katie you have my number. I love you all.

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
Charlie Marina and I are praying for you and yours during this trying time. Yet we find comfort in the above scripture. I hope you and your family will mourn but find peace in that we who believe will rejoice when we are joined together with our heavenly father and every loved one who passed before us.
Let me know if there is anything Marina or I can do or if you need anything
