Janet Lea Wheeler, 67, of Lusby, Maryland passed away on February 20, 2026, in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Janet was born on February 27, 1958, in Clarksburg, West Virginia to the late Ernest and Della Hollie.

Janet was a very caring and loved spouse, mother, grandmother and person. She loved doing crafts, singing karaoke, bowling, and dancing. She was an avid Elvis fan and had an extensive Elvis collection of memorabilia. She also enjoyed reading Stephen King novels.

Janet is survived by her husband David E. Wheeler, mother of Mark Virts, Robert Robinson, Jr.  and David Wheeler, Jr. Grandmother of Mark, Kristina, Brittany, and Stephanie. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Hollie, Rita Kouneski, Terry Hollie and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday February 26,2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD where funeral service will be held on Friday February 27, 2026, at 11 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
