James W. Stamp of Prince Frederick, MD passed away peacefully at the Green Acres Nursing Home in La Plata on September 7, 2025. Jimmy was born on August 22, 1943 in Washington, D.C. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jennings, Parents Billy & Florence Stamp, and Brothers Gene & Eddie Stamp.

Jimmy leaves behind a son, James Stamp Jr., Sister Helen (Sissy) Harrington, along with Helen Ann & Jeff Carper of Waynesboro, PA. Jimmy had an extreme love of wrestling and enjoyed being with his family every chance he had. He never met a stranger in his life.

The family will receive friends on Thursday September 18, 2025 from 10:30 until 11:45 at Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676. A graveside service will follow in Chesapeake Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends are invited to join the family after the service at the Prince Frederick Vol Fire Department in Prince Frederick for some food and fellowship.

The family is requesting that any floral or monetary donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
