As a friend of his mother and father when we were in high school students at Frederick Sasscer Junior-Senior High School, I sure can see his daddy’s smile in this photograph. He was a much loved young man who gave all that love back to all he met. May we all be comforted in his many gifts he shared with others.
Robbie was amazing person and incredibly funny. I was a Deputy Sheriff at Prince George’s Co Office of Sheriff where I met him in the 1990s. After I was retired we kept in touch on Facebook. He was quick to respond to my posts . He would use his humor to a T. God Bless Him and his family. Till we meet again .
I met Robbie at the OMES Building, P. G. Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, in 1990. He was a hard worker who always had a smile on his face. He spoke to everyone and was very friendly and kind. In recent years I would run into Robbie and George at Applebee’s when they would come in for coffee. We always made it a point to speak to each other and catch up. Robbie always asked how my family was and how my father was each time I saw him. He was a bright light in our office and everywhere he went. He will truly be missed by many. RIP Robbie.
My heart is breaking for this dear sweet young man. May the Almighty God comfort his dear brother. I knew Robbie and his twin brother George for decades, having met them at Pastor Marvin’s Tuesday Night Live (TNL) Bible Study in Upper Marlboro many moons ago. They were just such fun to have around – always smiling and always cracking jokes – especially Robbie. I remember standing next to him at TNL singing lively praise songs and teasing each-other about clapping on the beat. 🙂 We remained friends over the years and also became Facebook friends where we kept in touch. Robbie almost always sent me into stitches of laughter with the witty comments he made on many of my Facebook posts. The news of his death hit me like a Mac Truck, and my heart sank. I never dreamed that his condition was so serious. There’d be no more spontaneous laughter and fun at Robbie’s hilarious comments. I adored him. Rest in peace Robbie. You light up heaven until we meet again!
Robbie & George were my neighbors and we would often go to dinner together. Robbie love to laugh and tell jokes. He enjoyed being a volunteer the PGPD as a part of the Citizens Police Academy. They introduced me to Marvin prayer group TNL. Robbie love the Lord.
Rest in heavenly Peace my friend and I will see you again in heaven.
Robbie was a Moore cousin. He and George always had “funeral” jokes to tell my husband Albert! We talked sometimes on Facebook.
He was funny and had a belief in God that was not hidden. He was a wonderful young man. RIP Robbie!
James, or “Robbie” as he was affectionately called was one of the most caring and considerate persons I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. One thing that you would quickly learn about Robbie was that he was adored by everyone. I often had lunch with Robbie when he was assigned to the Courthouse and we had a hard time finishing our lunch and continuing our conversations because everyone from Judges, Sheriffs , lawyers, contractors, and especially our building staff would make it a point and stop and say hi to Robbie. Robbie had a infectious personality that traveled with him to his final assignment at the County Administration Building where I had the privilege to supervise him yet again. Robbie would always answer the phone with “yes Keith, what Can I do for you today?” He would most times say “yes” before I could finish the statement. I will miss his humor and dedicated service, most of all I will miss my colleague; and I can truly say this with conviction, I’ll miss my friend.
Robbie was such a sweetheart! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Robbie under Prince George’s County Government, Office of Central Services. Robbie had such a pleasant spirit that when I visited the County Administration Building (CAB) I would always look for Robbie to say “Hello” and to converse. He was so helpful whenever I needed assistance. Sometimes, when I called him, he would answer by saying “Hi Rhonda, you want me to meet you on the 3rd floor?” He was always so willing to help someone. I remember a time I was at the CAB and not having a good day. After talking with Robbie, for a while, he said to me “Tomorrow will be here before you know it!” That one simple statement made me feel a whole lot better and we both smiled. We had lunch a few times, I remember how he loved telling jokes and his “Big Mac’s” from McDonald’s. I will truly miss Robbie’s presence during my visits to the CAB. His caring and sunny disposition was contagious. Sending prayers to the entire Moore family. Another ANGEL has received his wings!!! Rest in Heavenly Peace Robbie!
My heartfelt condolences to Robbie’s family!
I did not have the pleasure of knowing him for very long. His infectious smile and positive demeanor, during the 2 years that I have worked in the CAB, made him very memorable however. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. The CAB will not be as warm nor as friendly without his presence.
I am so, so sorry. What a beautiful, generous spirit and a kind soul! His greetings were always uplifting. His conversations were engaging and compassionate. He had a genuine smile and boundless energy that I looked forward to connecting with every time we had the opportunity at the CAB. More than a colleague, he was a friend who will be truly missed. He was the epitome of a public servant. My deepest condolences to George and the entire family on your great loss. Praying for your peace and comfort. God bless you.

Robbie was a complete delight to know and brightened my day every time I saw him at the County Administration Building. One of the things I anticipated joyfully about the day that I would return to the office post pandemic was that I would get to see and talk with Robbie again. I am so grateful for his warmth and kindness and for the chance that I had to get to know him and be warmed by his light.
To all of Robbie’s family and friends God bless each and everyone of you. God has called home a wonderful, hard-working, very sincere person who loved what he did and always willing to help others. We all have a special Angel in Heaven. Robbie, George, and I all began our career with Prince George’s County Government, the Office of Central services in December 1985. Everyone knew and loved Robbie his outgoing, smiling, jovial personality. Robbie, no more pain dear buddy. God has called you home to be a disciple for Him. My heartfelt condolences for the Moore family.
Although we at Fleet Management did not get to see Robbie very often, it was always a treat when we did. Robbie was a true manifestation of positive energy and a ray of sunshine to all he met. He will truly be missed. We express our heartfelt condolences to George and the rest of the family.
I met Robbie and George years ago when I worked for the Office of the Sheriff. I must say Robbie was sweet, kind and had a great sense of humor. To say he was a conscientious worker would be an understatement. He was known and well liked by all the employees in the Sheriff’s Office. He was a good guy. He will be missed. RIP Brother…..
Robbie was such a warm, friendly person. He always had a smile and a encouraging word for others each time I saw him. To the family, thank you for sharing the gift of Robbie with us. He will be sorely missed. Praying for you all.
My sincere condolences to the Moore family, Robbie was a gem like no other. I had the distinct pleasure of working with him at the courthouse. We went to lunch at the same time and we would always meet in the cafeteria. He always had a kind work and a bright smile. Robbie really made your day, I was sad when he was transferred to the CAB and I didn’t get to see him any more. RIP. ,my friend.
Robbie is a once-in-a-lifetime person who manages to help everybody around him feel better. His friendliness is as genuine as his concern for other people. I enjoyed speaking with Robbie every time I had the chance. People were drawn to him like bees to the hive, and he always had a non-stop string of people who would stop dead in their tracks because seeing Robbie and speaking with him was more important than whatever errand they might be on. Robbie made other people rich in what matters most–kindness and caring. He gave without thought of return and never considered it as costing himself anything to be kind and helpful in every situation.
In so many ways, Robbie was and is a teacher. He taught using the most powerful method; that of a genuine pure desire to be good to people. I don’t believe anyone who spent any time with him was not enriched by his kindness, or impressed by his perennial sunny attitude. He will fit right in when they welcome him back to Heaven. In a lot of ways, he never left.
My warmest regards to Robbie’s family, and especially George. Robbie is not gone, but they are having one amazing party for him on the other side.
Respectfully,

I met Robbie through his brother George, those two guys were inseparable and personified goodness and love! Robbie was always a joy to be in the presence of, smiling and always happy to see and greet ALL his friends! Robbie truly was that true and shining light, and he shall be sorely missed! Missed but never Forgotten! Rest in Power and Royalty my friend!!
So sorry to here of Robbie’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go particularly to George, as well as his Mom and the rest of the family. Robbie was a trailblazer! I got to know him at Melwood where he was an accomplished advocate for the interests of those we served. As a Board Member, he was outspoken when needed; but, always beloved by everyone in the Melwood family. His warm smile will live on in the memories of all who knew him. God wanted one of His special people to come closer to Him. Farewell Robbie.
To each and everyone who left comments, thank you so much for your kind words, I am so lucky to have had the three best kids in the world, all three have hearts of gold and seem to care about each other and everybody else. My life has been so much richer because of them, no mother could be prouder than I am of Robbie, George and their sister Kristie. It makes me proud to think Robbie has touched so many people, he has a very special place in heaven, and in my heart.
With love to all, Betty Moore Parker
It was such a shock to hear of Robbie’s passing. I came to know Robbie and George during my 16 years with Prince George’s County government. One of my very special memories of Robbie was seeing him walk with his bible in his hand. He was not ashamed of his faith, shared it often, and will now be spending good times in Heaven. No more of this crazy world Robbie! I am thankful God brought our paths together. You are a true inspiration to everyone. The fact that you and George were able to work all these years, take care of yourselves, and have so many friends is so wonderful. You did not let any disability stop you from living, and I am sure you inspired many. My prayers will be for Robbie’s family during this time and I wish George peace and comfort knowing his twin and friend and brother is with Jesus now, with no more pain. May the family feel the comforting of the Lord during your grief. God Bless.
George and Family
My thoughts and prayers with Moore family. I did not know Robbie but have had the pleasure to work with George over the past 10+years and in our conversations family and his twin brother were always on the top of his list for discussion.
I have no doubt that Robbie is in Gods arm and his spirit remains in all who he has touched with so much joy.

Robbie was a truly great person who never met a stranger, always treated everyone with kindness and respect, and always exhibited a fantastic personality accompanied by warmth and caring. He will be remembered as an exemplary “Ambassador” for Prince George’s County because of his radiant spirit and caring personality.
I have known the Moore twins for many years from Marlboro Moose. Robbie and I shared a love of jokes, and when he came to the Moose, he would always look me up to tell me his latest one. He would then ask me if I had one for him. When George posted about Robbie’s passing, the first words that came out of me were, God no! Please, not Robbie. That’s the kind of guy he was. So pleasant, so God fearing, so pure. I consider it a blessing that I was able to know such a wonderful human being, and I am devastated by his passing. Condolences to poor George. I don’t know what he will do without his sidekick.
