James Aubrey Windsor, Jr. “Jay”
May 13, 1949 – December 22, 2022
James Aubrey Windsor, Jr.,” Jay”, of Lusby, Maryland passed away on December 22, 2022 at Calvert Medical Health Center in Prince Frederick, Maryland. . He was born May 13, 1949 in Cheverly, Maryland to the late James A. and Faye Hutchinson Windsor, Sr. He is preceded in death by his brother Steven E. Windsor.
Jimmy Retired from the US Postal Service where he worked for 24 years as a letter carrier. He also worked at Rolands in Chesapeake Beach part time and really enjoyed his time there. Jimmy had many interests, he enjoyed watching his hummingbirds, filling their feeders and trying to protect their food from the squirrels. He was not a fan of the squirrels and tried many different methods of detouring them from the feeders. But in the end, the squirrels probably won the battle.
He was an avid traveler and enjoyed the many family vacations to the Outer Banks, the Cruises they took and the many other vacation spots the family visited. Jimmy also enjoyed sports. He liked the Washington Capitals and the Orioles, but most of all he loved to watch his grandsons play the many sports they participated in. He followed the Lacrosse games, local and travel baseball and football.
Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Catherine E. Windsor, devoted father of Stacy Brendlinger and her husband Alan, Michelle Wood and her husband Dale. Grandfather of Gavin Ward, Garrett Ward, Alan Bendlinger, Jr. and Jacob Brendlinger. He is also survived by his sister Linda Bass and her husband John, and brother David Windsor and his wife Leonora.

Mrs. Windsor,
I will miss Mr. Windsor sweet presence in our lives. The daily waves from your porch, the conversations and laughs as he stood on the hill across from my home. The Christmas Peanut Brittle. But most of all, the love both he and yourself have shown to my kids, grands and Kinney and I. Rest easy Mr. Jim.
Cathy, my heart aches for you and your family. I always felt Jimmy was my best friend since we were children. He was kind, sweet, and a gentle spirit. Always had a sense of humor. I am so glad we remained good friends throughout our lives. We will deeply miss Jimmy and the many good times we shared. Cathy, we will always keep you and your family in our hearts. Rest in Peace Jimmy. Marco & Gennie Decesaris
My Dear sweet Brother, I am at a loss for words, shocking I know. I am so sorry you had to endure all of that in your last days here on Earth. I promise I will always watch out for Cathy, Stacy and Michelle and be here for them until it is my turn to leave this Earth. I am going to miss so many things about you but will hold onto those precious memories that are tucked away in my heart. Rest In Peace Bro 😘🙏😥
My deepest sympathy and prayers for the Windsor family on the loss of your husband, father and brother. My late husband knew Boggs and Bobby Windsor when they worked for Public Works. May God give him eternal rest and comfort to the loving. Ellen Ann (Windsor) Moore.
