James Alan “Jim” Davis
November 8, 1946 – November 14, 2021
James Alan “Jim” Davis, 75, of Lusby, MD passed away on November 14, 2021 at Georgetown University Hospital. Born November 8, 1946 in Oakland, CA, he was the son of William “Bill” Davis, Jr. and the late Thelma (Buell) Davis.
Jim served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He was a photographer for the Office of Naval Intelligence for 35 years, retiring in June 2002. Jim loved boating, beer and crabs, and spending time with family and friends. He will best be remembered by most as “Damn It” Jim.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine (Wagner) Davis whom he met in 1999 and married on July 18, 2009 in Fort Smith, AR; Step Daughter, Lori Krotendofer (Bobby) of Lusby, MD; grandchildren, Faith, Hope, Robert and Charity; siblings, Judy Morgan (LeRoy – Deceased) of Lake Havasu, AZ and Jeff Davis (Linda) of Murphy, TX; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jim’s life will be held at a later date.

WOW!!! Mr. Jim was one of my FIRST supervisors when I started working for the Federal Government in 1987.
