In case I can’t be there either day in person. I’d love to give my deepest sympathy to all. Please know that I will always be there for either of you if needed. I’m only a phone call away. Thank you Gloria for all of the amazing memories. You will remain in my heart forever. ❤
I remember Gloria as one of the Fire Dept group of ladies always at parades and functions lending a helping hand. Nothing like the good ‘ole days with Clara Mae, Elsie Mae, Anna Mae, Flossie Vitale, Edith Bladen, Edna Mae and others. Those are memories that will never fade for those who remember. Rest In Peace.🙏
I met Gloria and her sister Pearl at the fire hall in Prince Fredrick Maryland at a dance. Country memories band was playing there. They got to be our favorite band. As the weeks went by sometimes I would see Gloria and her sister Pearl at the dances, the moose and Kings Landing. We always had a good time. Then I saw her and Pearl at the seniors center in north beach. They came there to exercise. I will surely miss my hugs as well as Gloria. Gloria was a very nice friend and I will miss her a lot. My sincere condolences goes out to all her family.
I am so sorry, for Pearl and Gloria’s whole family. Losing a sister is a very difficult thing especially when they were as close as these two. Gloria will be missed by everyone in the family, she was sweet and kind to everyone….
Dear Rhonda, Toni and family, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother, sister, family member. The few times I spent with her, she was a fun loving lady, and one to be admired. Full of spirit and life. My sincere sympathies for your loss. She will always be remembered in spirit and love with all that were fortunate to have her in their life.
I remember Gloria as the pretty little girl at Calvert High. I was older so of course she was a little girl to me. Over the years she always had a smile and a friendly hello. Elmer and I send our condolences and love to the family.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Gloria but I do know her son Mark because he is married to my niece Laura. Mark loved and cared for his mother very much. Whatever Gloria needed Mark was there to help. I know how much he will miss her but he will have fond memories that he will carry with him always. My niece Laura (Gloria’s daughter in law) had a great relationship with her. Laura admired and loved her. She gave credit to Gloria for raising such a sweet, kind and responsible son.
God Bless the King family.
