Ginger was an amazing woman and I was so proud to have her as my stepmom. She brought so much love and laughter to all of us and I will truly miss her. Life will not be the same without her, but I know she is in heaven watching over all of us now and we will be together one day. I love you Ginger, Rest In Peace beautiful lady❤️.
Sincere condolences to my brother John on the loss of his wonderful wife Ginger who he loved deeply. I will never forget how kind and sweet Ginger was to our Mother. Keeping you in my thoughts, prayers, and heart at this sad time.
Ginger was my Aunt, but more like a second mother. There aren’t many family memories I have without her in them. Whether she was getting me on the bus as a little girl, having Thanksgiving dinner, or I just stopped by for good conversation and some Lima beans and dumplings, she has always been a strong presence in my life. She was one of the best cooks I know. She even made a tuna sandwich taste amazing. Her home was that home you didn’t have to call before visiting and didn’t have to knock before coming in. HOME-that’s what you felt walking in there…always. As no nonsense as she was, she had one of the softest hearts I’ve ever known. I would tell her she was a truffle…hard on the outside, soft on the inside. Nothing is ever going to be the same. I just can’t imagine a future without her in it. I hope you know how much I love you my sweet angel. Love, Stepheney
I love you Aunt Ginger….I know she is watching over all of us now. My prayers are with all of you during this time. I have so many great memories with my Aunt Ginger and my cousins Jason, Jessica and Jimmy. I love you all.
My mother was one of the strongest an kindest people I’ve ever met. She would go out of her way to help someone even when she was the one who needed it. Her house was the place that everyone would go to if they needed help or just some good advice. She never put herself before anyone no matter the circumstances. She definitely was the backbone of my family in so many ways. She also was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met an so much fun to be around, she definitely didn’t have a filter and would tell you exactly how she felt. If anyone needed advice on cooking she was the one to call because when I was a child the phone would ring an she would say I guess so an so is cooking tonight an she would laugh. She also loved having Christmas an thanksgiving at her house because she loved having her family all in one place. She also loved her children nieces, nephews and grandchildren more than anything in the world. She was a amazing woman that I’m so very proud to call my mother. It was very hard to see her in so much pain over the last couple years but she never gave up and I now know she can finally rest an be at peace. Love you Moma!
We grew up as childhood friends and neighbors. We rode the school bus together growing up and I would get off at her stop when I would visit my grandmother who owned the neighboring farm. My property used to be Ginger’s parcel from their farm. It was tobacco feilds, now woods. Sometimes when I walk the property I see a plant or something unusual for a wood setting and think that maybe she planted it . It reminds me of a simpler, easier time. Thank you, Ginger for being a friend. My condolences to her family.
I went to school with Ginger and remember her as a very sweet, loving person. She raised children and grandchildren with love. She was a true Warrior Queen in battling her illnesses and never gave up. May she now Rest in Peace, her family comforted, and Fond memories of her never be forgotten.

I taught Ginger at CSHS. She and her first two kids lived across the street from me at Dares Beach. Always liked that “skinny girl”! May she forever RIP.
