June 18 – Obituary: George Raymond Tavenner, Jr.
I met George later in his life at The Crossing church. George exuded joy in his sweet demeanor and willingness to be used by God. Along with his sweet wife Corrine they were encouragers and cheerful givers of their resources: time, finance, and service.
Grateful to have had the opportunity to know him and praying for the peace and comfort of all the family , especially Corrine as they navigate this new season without his physical presence.
Hugs,
Patty

June 18 – Obituary: George Raymond Tavenner, Jr.
George and Corinne have been the best neighbors (and friends) that I could have asked God to provide. They are among the kindest people I have ever known. George and I would talk often over the fence – mostly about our love for God and country, but also many jokes about the joys and hardships of aging in a world that’s moving faster all the time – and struggling so much along the way. He had some great and interesting ideas about solving the problems of this world – of course, most of them revolved around Jesus (then there were some funny ones too! Lol!). I’ve prayed with Corrine for him, and have been praying since he died for her. Their love for each other was so inspiring. He was truly a good and godly man in this world – and he will be missed.
