Gary Matthew Windsor, affectionately known as “Paw Paw” to his grandchildren passed away July 13 surrounded by family. He was born February 7, 1972 in Brandywine.

Gary grew up in Croom, MD and worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Dale Moreland Excavating for many years.

Gary enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, shooting pool, and dancing.

He is survived by his children Brittany Murphy of Cumberland, Jessica Poole (David) of Lothian, Tony Close (Tina) of Chesapeake Beach, and Heather Curtin (Chris) of Lusby, and 18 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brother Chris Windsor (Barbara) of Brandywine, sister Tracy Murphy (Mike) of Cumberland, and Gail Hardesty (Willie) of Upper Marlboro, as well as multiple nieces and nephews, and his longtime friend LoAnna Hall of Brandywine.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother and father George (Boza) and Diane Windsor and his daughter Shelly Windsor.
