To the Johnson Family,

Our hearts are with you during this unimaginable time. Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved Gage. There are no words that can soften the pain of losing someone so young, so full of life, and so deeply cherished. We hope you can feel the love and support surrounding your family, because in moments like this, we truly are all one family.

Gage’s spirit was extraordinary. His adventurous heart, his joy in the outdoors, and the way he poured himself into everything he loved were gifts he shared so freely with everyone around him. He embraced life with a rare mix of curiosity, kindness, and a genuine desire to go above and beyond for others. That is how he will always be remembered.

Gage and our son met in elementary school and their time together was filled with play dates and summer days swimming in pools that created happy memories. Gage was a good friend, smart, quick-witted, and a joy to be around. He often talked about his love of cooking, and we still smile remembering how he taught us to freeze grapes because, as he said, they taste better that way. Our hearts are broken for the Johnson family, and we hold you close in our thoughts during this unimaginable loss.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gage’s passing. My sincere sympathy and condolences are with you and his entire family and friends. My prayers are with you and your family. May you have comfort in knowing you are not alone. 🙏

My heart is aching for you both. My prayers are rising for you all. I am so sorry for such a loss. His smile was amazing! 

My girls are in 6th and 8th grades, so they didn’t know Gage well, but they rode the bus together and are so saddened by Gage’s passing. Charlene and Erik, I cannot fathom the anguish you are feeling. I pray you feel his presence and are granted peace. God bless you and your family. 

I am so sorry to hear of Gage’s passing. He was such a joy to have in my classroom family in fourth grade at Mt. Harmony.  He always had a kind smile and helping hand to contribute in positive way every day. I really enjoyed hearing about all of his cooking adventures — especially the shrimp scampi and pasta dishes! I am deeply saddened for your loss and wishing you strength during this most difficult time. 

I had the pleasure of knowing Gage while volunteering in his kindergarten class, which my daughter also attended. I remember him fondly—he was such a kind and sweet child, with the cutest cheeks. We are deeply sorry for your loss and send you our love and prayers.

Our first grandson, always in our hearts and mind. We had such fun memories – swimming , boating , smoothies every morning, poker with Grampa, family games together.  He was so kind, generous and sweet.  He will be missed forever.we love you Gage.
