Elwira Seidel Harris

Elwira Seidel Harris, 87, of Chesapeake Beach, MD passed away December 22, 2024. She was born February 28, 1937, in Liebsdorf, Czechoslovakia to Josef Sr. and Sophie (Schuppler) Seidel. Elwira moved to the United States in 1949 and became naturalized in 1955. She married David R. Harris on August 30, 1969, and they lived in Calvert County, MD. Elwira worked as a nurse at Calvert House for many years and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting.
Elwira is survived by her sons David Harris II (Robin), Thomas Harris (Donna), and William Harris (Jennifer), numerous grandchildren, sister Brunhilda Miller, and sister-in-law Donann Seidel.
She was preceded in death by her husband David R. Harris, Sr. her parents, Josef Sr. and Sophie Seidel, and her brother, Josef Seidel, Jr.
