Shelby, Kelsey and Haley, I am so so sorry to hear about your Dad. I have fond memories of him and all of you at Tidewater. I know he will be missed by so many. He was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Hold on to your memories. Sending prayers to you all 🙏🏼💔
Shelby, Kelsey, & Haley,
We are so sorry for your loss. Mike was such a kind, thoughtful, caring, and happy person. You all are! We enjoyed working out with him and just chatting about nothing and everything like he only could. The world is as little less bright without him. Sending all our love and thoughts to you all.

Dearest Joe and Lil, and to all the family, my prayers are for you all. May God be by your side through this difficult and emotional time. I have fun memories of Mike at FGA. I always saw him with a smile. May God give you peace in hearts. His is our Strong Hold, call on him in times like these. ❤️🙏🏻
Mike and I in our teenage yrs attended our summer church camps every year for a while. I also worked in the kitchen during winter retreats with his parents Joe and Lilli during weekend events. May God look down on the family and give them peace and comfort.
Joe, Lil, Mitch,
My sincere condolences for your loss of Mike.
He was a good friend, we hung out and laughed, and enjoyed life together in our teenage years.
He drove all the way to TN with my Cousin Steve Wallen, to be groomsmen in my late wife’s and I’s wedding.
Although Mike is no longer here on this earth, his spirit and the good things he taught and lived will carry on through his children, grandchildren, family & friends.
Mike, look forward to seeing you in heaven my friend!
Blessings on you all,
Joe Dotson
First to Mike’s girls- the pain will become more bearable, cherish the memories and know that you were loved. Lil and Joe you did remarkable job raising an awesome man. The whole family will continue to be in my prayers. To Mike- what a difference you made in my life. My life is fuller for having had you in it. I will miss your laughter and smile. Rest in your eternal reward. Hug and kiss my mom and thanks you for being there when she left us💜💜
I can only imagine the Glory you see right now ..Praying the Family and those who Mike’s life
touched on planet earth find peace and comfort knowing where he will spend his eternal life.. as you all rest in his loving memories.. He was a wonderful Father , Son , Friend husband and all around person ..He will be missed.
To Mike’s family, please accept my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I met Mike back in 1981 at church camp, and we became good buddies, and shared some really fond memories with our small band of church camp friends. I’ve always respected and looked up to Mike. He had a tough skin, but a gentle sweet spirit underneath. As life took us in different directions, I never lost the memory of my buddy Mike; he was truly one of a kind. I will continue to cherish those memories. As God has promised, I will see you again one day my friend. Until then..
