Dear Aunt Sandy, Doug and Greg,
My heartfelt condolences are not nearly enough to express to you how sorry I am to learn of Uncle Doug’s passing. I am truly blessed with such fond memories of my younger years shared with all of you. I think about those times, many years ago, when Mike and I would come to visit. You always welcomed us with open arms and hearts. Your kindness is what I remember most. Uncle Doug, with his direct and honest approach to life, was truly one of a kind. He will hold a special place in my heart always. As you mourn his loss, I truly hope you take comfort in each other. I love you all.
Dear Sandy: Paul and I were so sorry to hear about Doug’s passing. Over the years we have come to know him as a close family friend of Harriet and Doug’s and by extension, of us as well. He was fun to be around and had a great sense of humor. We know he loved life and there is much to celebrate in his memory. We send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family. Fran and Paul Byers
Dear Sandy,
I will fondly remember the years we worked on construction projects at Chalk Point with Doug, Johnny and Steve. Doug was always the “runner” that was fixing problems and keeping things moving on our projects together with the PEPCO guys and other craft. His love for life and pleasant disposition will truly be missed by those who knew him.
Our sincere condolences.
