I am so sad to hear of your passing. You were such a very fun and free-spirited woman. I’m so glad that I had a chance to get to know you. I keep the entire family in my prayers. I love all of you. I’m sending many many hugs. Dorothy was just a gem just like the rest of you she will be truly missed.
I love you mom, you were my everything, I pray to be just like you… you were so smart. I’m going to miss coming home from work and seeing you in your chair reading a magazine and eating a pop cycle in your hand. I love you mom.

Mike and family my sincere condolences. Dottie was such a beautiful and well spirited woman who I personally admired. I will miss her too. I pray you all find peace knowing that she is no longer suffering or in pain. May God hold and protect you.
My favorite memory of Dottie is when she would take Sofia, Taylor, Kayleigh, and I to Applebees after long days of us swimming and playing mermaids all day. She would drive us in her white Cadillac, she always had her jewelry on, nails done, hair done, makeup done, everything. She was always looking her best 100% of the time. When we’d get to Applebee’s we’d always have “girl talk” (that’s what she called it) it ended up with everyone at the table laughing our butts off for WAYYY longer at the Applebee’s than we should have been. Dottie was such a loving lady, who always treated me and my sister like her own every time we saw her. I remember her saying one time “I want a lady president! But I am NEVER voting for that Hillary Clinton! Ew!” Dottie was so funny, and always had a witty remark to say, or a story about her youth to provide. Most importantly whenever I think of strong women I’ve met in my life, Dottie Coleman is one of the first person that always comes to mind. She was the ultimate matriarch. She loved her entire family and it showed in everything she did.
This world is going to be a little less bright with out you in it, Mrs. Dottie. Thank you for always being so kind to us. We love you, and we will look out for Taylor for you.
Billy & I are so sorry for your loss. I know it’s very hard for we have been through this way to many times. Dottie is no longer suffering, she will always be there with you know matter what giving each of you all the support you need in your hearts
Tracey wish we were there to give you hugs since we are not sending lots of virtual hugs
To the Coleman & Sears Families. I never knew Dottie but she was my cousin on my mothers side. My grandfather was
Stanley Sears who had a brother named Herman. I remember as a child where they lived. Over time families get away
from you as time. I just want to say she sounded like a wonderful person and lot of fun.
May she rest in peace. I pray the families find peace & remember the good times and have wonderful memories.
God Bless

My beautiful neighbor. I will miss waving as you drive by. Seems like just yesterday that you drove by and tooted the horn. You always had something funny to say and make me laugh. I’m so sad that I couldn’t have seen you just one more time. You and Mike were one of our favorite neighbors. RIP
Words can not express the emptiness and pain we have experienced in last 2 months. My mom was OUR rock and MY hero. She was definitely a strong caring woman who befriended anyone who needed a friend. I feel like the wind(my breath) was knocked out of me and still gasping for air. Mom you are so very special and I am honored to say your my mom. I am blessed to have the memories a n d all the Wisdom you gave me. You are so very missed!
To my big sister Dot, my best friend, the most beautiful and classy LADY that I know. Looking tough and sexy on your bike, I’m glad you are my “Big Sis”. Your heart and soul will always be with me. Spending time with Dottie was always special, I could confide in her about anything; she was so insightful. I have many memories of our childhood growing up on the farm in Lothian, Dottie is reminiscent of grandma Sears in her matriarchal ways and kind treatment to others throughout the years. My beautiful sister will live eternally in my thoughts and memories. I will miss her every moment. God bless you Mike and my nieces and nephew. Love, Brenda & Steve.
I’m going to miss my mom mom more then anything especially all of are memories, like all the times i would get in trouble and you would lie for me so i wouldn’t get my phone taken or the times we would just gossip about the things going on around us. You really did do everything for me and made sure i had the best no matter what. You always stuck up for me to anyone you really were like another mom to me. I love and miss you so much.

Our sincere condolences to Dottie’s family. We were sorry to hear of her passing. We bought our home on Mallard Lane from Dottie back in 1984 and still live in the home today. I know the Sears family farm was here on Mallard Lane and the family has many memories of our home. God Bless you during your grieving. Sharon and Greg Eurich
So many words that describe Dotty. She was like a second Mom to me and many others. She had grace, strength. She was a giver and would tell it how she seen it. She was loved by so many. Mom, wrap you beautiful wings around everyone and guide us to our resting place. Until we meet again. Love you
To Dotties family i pray that you will be given the strength to get through this. That you will take care of each other, lean on each other and love one another as she wished. That is the legacy that she left with all you. Family. To her Family was everything.
I will miss her as will everyone. I will cherish the memories of the last few times we were together and of course we ended up in Happy Harbor reminiscing until who knows what time. You were a wonderful part of so many lives and I know you will be one of God’s special angels.
The world is less…without Dottie. My brother and I first met Dottie in the mid 1970s when our old car hobby brought us to Maryland Tag and Title. We walked in and the most beautiful, efficient and helpful lady was there to fix our title problems and her name was Dottie. For years she helped both of us with title solutions. We missed her when she stepped away from title work and now we are shocked and saddened she is gone. She was a part of our car life for so long and we appreciate her and her family helping us with our car passion to this day! She was something special….we love you Dottie.
