Donna Marie Thomas

Donna Marie Thomas, 60, of Huntingtown, passed away on October 21, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on July 11, 1966, in Hazel Crest, Illinois, to Frances (Kostopulos) and Robert Balluff. Her family moved between several other cities in Cook County before relocating to Bowie, Maryland, where she attended Bowie High School, graduating class of 1984. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Warren Thomas, in 1987. Donna earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science at the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1989, and went on to work in computing operations for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). She later worked as a property manager for Century 21 Real Estate, until her retirement in 2018. She loved spending her free time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her husband, Robert Warren Thomas of Huntingtown; their children Phillip George Thomas (Jacqulyn) of St. Leonard, and Kimberly Rose Kina (Nicholas) of Huntingtown; grandchildren Harrison Knight Thomas, Alexander Arnold Thomas, and Kade Alexander Kina, and her sister, Marie Balluff. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Balluff.
