Our sincere condolences to the family. Duck and I became friends in 1963 and spent many weekends partying from Solomons Island to Chesapeake Beach. I was only 15 without a drivers license so Duck and Bobby Riddle would be my ride. I spent quite a few weekends at Ducks house and his mom and dad were delightful and welcoming. Duck let me use his 56 Ford on my first date with my wife Donna. Duck said be back at 10pm as the party was ending then, so on the way back the floor shift got stuck in 2nd gear, we were late, 12am, Duck was sitting on curb in the dark and when I broke him the bad news about his car, he laughed it off. Wonderful friend with a big heart, always laughing and truly enjoyed his friends and life. RIP my old friend.
