Dolores Ann Knupp

October 27, 1929- June 17, 2022

Dolores Ann Knupp, 92 of Huntingtown, MD passed away June 17, 2022. She was born in Upper Marlboro, MD October 27, 1929, to John Louis and Agnes Cecelia Lee Garner. Dolores was formerly employed as a secretary with St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Upper Marlboro. Dolores went to school in Upper Marlboro, MD. She was married to her husband for almost 48 years. She enjoyed all kinds of card games and crossword puzzles. She had also been a master crafter. Dolores lived life unselfishly and was devoted to her family and Jesus.

Surviving are her husband Richard Lee Knupp; children Earl Walker of Huntingtown, Toni Rowley and her husband Larry of Mechanicsville, and Rebecca Hood and her husband Richard of Huntingtown; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dolores was preceded in death by four sisters, a brother, a son, and a granddaughter. She will be sorely missed by all.

    Condolences to the family. I sat behind Dolores and Richard many years at 8 am Mass at St. Anthony’s prior to them having to stop going in person. Lovely couple. Rest In Peace.
