I had the honor to serve with Diane in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Maryland. She was an essential element in its operations. But, most of all, I remember the fun that she generated in others and her wonderful laughter.
I was saddened to hear of Diane’s passing. It was a great pleasure to work with her the last 12 years as part of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Graduate Programs. Her knowledge, competence, and good cheer made everything easy.
My condolences to the family.
I met Diane when I was a graduate student. She was always such a kind, joyful, and genuine friend to me. I enjoyed our talks about life as proud, working moms and always had a better day after visiting her office. I miss this beautiful woman.
We are saddened by Diane’s passing. Diane was so kind and helpful to everyone. Her laugh and great sense of humor made it fun to be with her. She cared deeply about the students in the Chem and Biochem Department at UMD and always had their best interests in mind. We will miss her and we send our condolences to her family.
