Courtney was a great friend with whom I played MahJongg. She loved her T- bird and enjoyed cruising when she could get Lou to take vacation. Courtney made many friends in Swan Point but her cherished friends were John, Judy and Jenny. May she be reunited with Cara and Lou. We will miss her.
Courtney was full of life and love. She lived a life well traveled with Lou and friends. Her recall of people time and events was phenomenal. She loved to laugh and was quick to include others in her life. She loved her children and grandchildren so much. She will be missed by many. May she travel on the wings of angels to her final resting place.

Our condolences to Courtney’s family. May she RIP. We knew Courtney from the several years that she & her late husband Lou lived in our Swan Point community. She was a fellow Mah Jongg player, and a kind/thoughtful person.
Courtney and I were good friends through high school and had some silly adventures together during those years. She transferred to American U where I was a student and we continued being friends. She was such an intelligent and intuitive person with a great laugh and a ready smile. We were in touch for many years through Facebook (I live in Chile) and twice at high school reunions. Sending love to you in heaven, Courtney….. you will always be in my thoughts❤️. Jessie Vega
Courtney and I became friends when I joined the Census Bureau in 1998. Over the years, my wife and I enjoyed hosting Courtney and Lou on the Eastern Shore and visiting them as well. Last summer we spent a holiday at Virginia Beach as Courtney got the most out of her visit even as she struggled with her increasing disabilities.
Courtney had an incredible mind, assimilating and grasping information at lightning speed. She was able to recall decades-old conversations verbatim. Her wit was legendary. Most of all, Courtney was a fiercely loving friend.
We will miss and remember her.
My memories of my Aunt C, as I affectionately called her, begin when I began. From rides in her car, bouncing in the front seat and singing along to the radio, to the “Clow family Christmases”, playing in the yard on Fischer Road when I was just small, to her famous “fly by” home visits, I will always cherish those times. In more recent years we spent a lot of time together in AZ, when she and Lou and she and my Mom traveled out for visits. Those times will be remembered for an abundance of laughter and lessons on family history, amongst many others. Most especially, I will miss her kindness and care and her great capacity to show me love.
I will remain, always, “Courtney’s niece”.
Rest peacefully, Aunt C. You were truly loved.
I met Courtney when we moved to Hallmark Estates in 1982 and our friendship continued even after we moved to another home in Calvert County.
My deepest condolences to Ryan and Michael during this difficult time . Courtney will be missed by all who knew her. She was a dear friend and an inspiration to me over these past several years. Rest in heavenly peace my dear friend. Until we meet again! Love you!❤️
I miss you Courtney. You fought so hard. May you rest in peace 🙏 I’ll miss your humor, your incredible mind and how you remembered everyone you ever knew. It always amazed me. I loved it whenever we got together or talked on the phone. You always kept me laughing. And, you could imitate people to a tee. For your family I’m so sorry for your loss. Courtney loved her family. She always spoke of each you. She was proud of her family and told stories of her life often. I’ll cherish my memories and pray for you as you honor her today.
Thanks Courtney for having been so kind and thoughtful when we worked together in Civilian Personnel
I remember well the day you came into my shop and showed me the lovely year book from Crossland.
And many conversations after that… Eternal Peace my friend
