Constas Anne Harrison, age 101, of Annapolis, MD passed away June 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born April 3, 1922 in Washington, D.C. to Sarah Virginia (Grimm) and George P. Margelos. She attended public school in Washington and was later employed as a Claims Department Supervisor with Geico Insurance Company. She married William H. Harrison in 1941 and they resided in Hyattsville, MD until moving to Chalk Point in West River, MD in 1956. Constas and her husband retired in the 1970’s to Florida and later West Virginia, and returned to Maryland in the 1990’s as they missed their family. Constas most enjoyed spending time with her children and their families. She also enjoyed tending to her houseplants, and oh how she loved Jesus!

Constas was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William who passed away in 2000, and by her siblings Catherine Russ, George Margelos, Susan Harrison, William, Charles, and John Margelos. She is survived by five children, Patricia A. Riddle and husband Jimmy of Tracy’s Landing, Beverly J. Smith of Portsmouth, OH, William H. Harrison, Jr. of Clarksville, IN, Janice H. Lynch and husband Mark of Owings, and Josephine C. Guarino of Annapolis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and sisters Ursula Padgett of Dunkirk, MD and Hilda Beach of Denton, MD.
