Clifton S. Wood, “Clif”62, of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away at Gilcrest Hospice Care in Columbia, MD December 29, 2022, surrounded by his loving family after suffering a long illness. Clif was born on February 2, 1960 in Maryland to Clifton and Gloria Wood. Besides his parents, Clif is also survived by his sisters, Lori Thomas, and Lisa Wood, a nephew Jake, and his best friend Wendi Lewis.
The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic, MD on Saturday January 7, 2023 from 12 until the time of the services at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Central Cemetery, Barstow, MD. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Gilcrest Hospice Care,6336 Cedar Lane, Columbia MD 21044

There are no others like Clif. He filled so many different roles to those who got to know him. A good, caring, and compassionate man. No one was ever kinder; if he could do anything to help you, anytime, he was right there. His life and his memory are truly a blessing.
