Cheryl Darlene Blaney

February 18, 1957- July 18, 2021

Cheryl Darlene Blaney, 64, of North Beach passed away at home on July 18, 2021. She was born February 18, 1957 in Baltimore to John and Betty (Martin) Blaney. Cheryl was raised in Chesapeake Beach and graduated from Northern High School. She was employed as a security guard at the beach in The Willows, a 911 operator, and worked in the maintenance department at North Beach Senior Apartments before going to work as a school bus driver with Calvert County Public Schools for 15 years. Cheryl was a hard worker and often worked multiple jobs at a time. She loved dogs and enjoyed collecting things, helping others, playing the guitar, fishing, fixing things, and working with her hands. Cheryl was a very independent person and was always willing to try new things. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her cousins Lanny Hale of Chesapeake Beach and Faye Hale of Cocoa, FL and second cousin Linda Penifill of Woodbridge, VA, as well as many friends.

      Hi Karen
You don’t know me but I lived with Cheryl for many years. I just saw on FB that she passed in July. Do you know what happened to her? What happen to all her pets? Lord knows she treasured her dogs. I’m particularly upset that I’m just finding out about this so much later and was unable to attend her funeral. You can call me or text me at 443-848-1890 I hope you get this message
