Charles Roland “Tiny” Sharretts IV
October 20, 1958 – October 21, 2021
Charles Roland “Tiny” Sharretts IV, 63, formerly of Calvert County passed away October 21, 2021. He was born on October 20, 1958 to Charles “Chunk” Roland III and Marilyn (Tobin) Sharretts. Tiny grew up in Owings and graduated from Northern High School in 1977. Tiny developed a love for billiards at an early age and went on to become an incredibly talented pool player. The sport took him to many different areas where he built great friendships with those alike. He was instrumental in developing leagues in the surrounding areas. Tiny shared his sharp skills with the many students who benefited from his lessons. Tiny could be found at Bank Shots in Laurel prior to his neurological diagnosis sending the 8-ball flying. All who knew him loved him. Tiny had a keen sense of directions; he was the GPS of yesterday. There was never a time that he could not navigate his family out of being lost. He was a math wizard, loved numbers, was a fierce chess player and a great conversationalist. Tiny loved sharing stories about his grandchildren with others, he cherished time with his family and will be greatly missed.
Tiny is survived by his son Charles “TJ” Sharretts V and his wife Jessica of Duncansville, PA, grandchildren Charles VI, Emily and Olivia, sisters Margie Barrett and her husband David of St. Leonard and Lynne Sneade and her husband Dave of Huntingtown, father Charles “Chunk” Roland Sharretts III of Salisbury. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandson Drake and mother Marilyn Sharretts.
Tiny’s family would like to thank the staff at Spa Creek (Annapolis) for the loving care and attention they provided. The family would also like to thank Hospice of the Chesapeake for their guidance and support.
The family request that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
A celebration of life will be held to honor Tiny. Please check back for continued updates.

I never imagined that on Oct 20, 2021
that it would be the last time I heard you
say hello sister, held your hand, rubbed
your forehead, wiped your tear or told you that I love you.
Remembering you is easy,
I do it every day.
It’s the heartache of losing you,
That will never go away.
I love you my sweet sweet brother. Give Mom a great big hug for me
Tiny was one of my many Teddy Bears and always had a hug and a kind word for me. He was always more worried about my health issues than he was his own, which made him the Saint I know him to be.
Tiny, I love you and will miss you dearly. My hugs will always be lacking without your arms around me.
To Tiny’s Family
I grew up with the Sharretts family. We started out at Fairview Elementary School. I love this family. So very sorry, Margie, and Lynne, for your loss. May God lift you up, and hold you in his loving arms at this difficult time.

I have a lot of memories of Tiny. Funny thing, I never knew his real name. When I worked with his mom at Pop Brown’s furniture to going to school. We kind of grew up together. Many prayers for the family.
May he rest in peace
