Catherine Ann Lurton

Catherine Ann Lurton, 56, of Hurlock, MD passed away December 30, 2022. She was born April 6, 1966 to William Francis and Florence Regina (Canter) Walker. Catherine grew up in Upper Marlboro and graduated from Largo High School. She married Mark Lurton on June 3, 1988 and they lived in North Beach until moving to the Eastern Shore, where they have lived for over 30 years. Catherine worked as a cashier at Lowe’s Home Improvement for many years. Family was everything to her and she loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and collecting dolls.

Catherine is survived by her loving husband Mark Lurton of Hurlock, MD, sons Matthew Lurton of Deal Island, MD and Jimmy Lurton and his wife Heather of Dayton, OH, brothers Robert Lee Walker and his wife Pam of Goldsboro, MD and William Walker and his wife Tracey of Denton, MD, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
